The Notice of Race with Sailing Instructions (NOR/SI) including the Course Diagram, Start Time and other race details will be posted on the 2026 Racing Page of the AISC website by the Wednesday before the race day.
The winner of the race will be awarded the perpetual Ice Bucket Trophy which they will keep until next year's Ice Bucket Challenge race.
All seaworthy and insured monohull sailboats are invited to race - no spinnakers, but whisker poles attached to the mast are allowed. Membership in the Amelia Island Sailing Club is required (annual membership $125) for the boat owner. Membership is recommended for other crew members. Sailboats visiting Amelia Island are invited to race with no membership requirement, but are not eligible to be awarded the Ice Bucket Trophy. A Provisional PHRF Rating can be provided by the AISC Race Committee for boats without a rating certificate, and it is recommended that an official PHRF Rating Certificate be obtained from First Coast Sailing Association (FCSA - $35) in which AISC is a member.
