Annual 26nm ocean race from St. Simons Island (GA) to Amelia Island (FL), hosted by the Amelia Island Sailing Club.
Registration is required for this race by clicking on the race listing on the Events Page on the AISC Website. Registration will open when the NOR is posted, usually about two months before the race.
The race is open to all sea-worthy, self-righting and insured monohull sailboats, and sailing club affiliation is not a requirement. PHRF ratings are required preferably from First Coast Sailing Association (FCSA) or the AISC Race Committee will assign a PHRF Rating. The race starts in the St. Simons Channel and ends in the St. Marys River Channel. Spinnaker and Non-spinnaker classes. Trophies for the 1st, 2nd and 3rd place finishers in each class.
Makeup Dates - if the race needs to be postponed, the makeup date is Saturday, November 07.
