RACE ON Jan 24th is CANCELLED. The Ice Bucket Challenge Race will be held on our next scheduled race day, Saturday Feb 07. The planned Makeup Race Day on November 14 will now be raced to fill out the 15-Race schedule for 2026.
The Notice of Race with Sailing Instructions (NOR/SI) including the Course Diagram, Start Time and other race details will be posted on the 2026 Racing Page of the AISC website by the Wednesday before the race day.
The winner of the race will be awarded the perpetual Ice Bucket Trophy which they will keep until next year's Ice Bucket Challenge race.
All seaworthy and insured monohull sailboats are invited to race - no spinnakers, but whisker poles allowed. Membership in the Amelia Island Sailing Club is required (annual membership $125) for the boat owner and the primary helmsperson. Membership is recommended for other crew members. Provisional PHRF Rating can be provided by the AISC Race Committee, with an official PHRF Rating to be obtained from the First Coast Sailing Association (FCSA - $35).
